Uconn Womens BasketBall Team Could Land in NCCA Bridgeport

UConn has a 9-1 record in tournament games played in Bridgeport, but the Huskies have only once failed to advance as a No. 2 seed — in 2006, when they defeated Georgia by two in the Round of 16 before falling to Duke in the Regional final in extra time.

The Huskies defeated Notre Dame and Louisville as the No. 1 seed in Bridgeport in 2013, Texas and Dayton in 2015, Oregon State and Syracuse in 2016, and UCLA and Oregon in 2017.

As a college player and coach, she has won 83.9% of the games she has taken part in. If the Tigers make it to the Sweet 16 in the Bridgeport Region, she might have to play her alma mater.
