White House had issued a statement telling us the number of people who had gone for the booster shots immediately after they were made available to the people. The number is good, and it seems that the people who are eligible for getting the booster shots have wasted no time as they have crowded to the health facilities to get that third vaccine or the booster shot as it is commonly called.
Now the number of people who have received either the booster shot from Moderna or from Johnson & Johnson is 1.5 million that had been counted in the first 5 days after the vaccine became available to the people of the United States.
“Our booster program is off to a very strong start,” said Jeff Zients, who is also known as the White House coronavirus response coordinator. He also gave us some other info about this matter as he presently made it known that the administration is working with all that they have got and that they are pushing forward and trying their absolute best, not even more than that to make sure that people do not die needlessly because of the coronavirus. He said that they are working with the states, pharmacies, and other people in order to quickly get booster shots to tens of millions of eligible Americans.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or as we more easily and more commonly call it – the CDC said this on Thursday and told us that they had approved the booster shots of Moderna’s and J&J’s Covid vaccines for millions of Americans to get them if they are eligible for getting the shot. This seems to be a very good move as now more and more people can get vaccinated against the coronavirus.
The Biden administration is in a state where they are forcing the hesitant adults or to put it more gently, persuading them to take the first dose of the vaccine on the one hand and on the other hand preparing the vaccine for the younger age group. They are also providing the booster shot that the people need.
